On Monday, 1st April 2019 a successful deployment was undertaken by Steamship Authority on board MV Nantucket.
A 9-metre MES and 128-person link liferaft were deployed as part of crew training.
The exercise was attended by USCG, the press, local council people, and by staff from Mass Maritime. Reports of the very successful exercise made headlines in various local publications.
