New Intermediate Class Ferries for BC Ferries

LSA has agreed a contract with Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. to supply it’s world renowned MES and liferafts to the three new Intermediate Class Ferries for British Columbia Ferry Services Inc.

The new dual fuel vessels will be delivered between August 2016 and February 2017. Each vessel will have 2 x LSA 20m MES and 6 x 100 persons self–righting liferafts providing a total capacity for 800 persons.

BC Ferries is a long standing and valued customer of LSA. This contract will bring the total number of vessels in the BC Ferries fleet with LSA MES installed to 13.
